About Us
The Rosa Linea network

The Rosa-Linea network, founded in 2005, is a collaborative group of institutions across
Northern Europe focused on healthcare education. It combines Rosa (since 1998) and Linea
(since 1993) and includes the following institutions: Arcada University of Applied Sciences (Finland), Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (Lithuania), University of Tromsø (Norway),
University College of Northern Jutland (Denmark), University of Skövde (Sweden), and Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (Norway). These institutions provide bachelor and master-level education programs covering nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy,
radiography, midwifery, and public health.

The network's main goal is to encourage cultural understanding and diversity in healthcare. This involves sharing best practices and innovative ideas in healthcare education and research and giving students and educators chances for international experience and professional networks. Our partners contribute significantly to shaping a skilled and culturally aware healthcare workforce across disciplines.

By fostering collaboration not only in clinical practice but also in theoretical subjects, we aim to enhance the depth and breadth of knowledge exchange within the network. This inclusive approach ensures that students and educators can engage in meaningful exchanges that go beyond clinical settings, promoting a comprehensive understanding of healthcare practices and theories across borders. With a successful history of student and teacher exchange programs in both theoretical and clinical studies, the network brings tangible benefits to its partners. This includes strengthened cultural relations, curriculum development, and an overall improvement in the quality of higher education studies.
