In April 2026, partners in the Rosa Linea network gathered in Riga, Latvia for a productive and inspiring meeting, bringing together participants both in person and digitally. The meeting marked another important step in strengthening collaboration and shaping the network’s future direction.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Ilze Ansule for the warm welcome in Riga (Riga Stradiņš University, Medical Education Technology centre), and to Signe Irša for providing valuable insights during the clinical visit at the Paula Stradiņa Klīniskā universitātes slimnīca. Their contributions created an excellent setting for dialogue, learning, and exchange.
The meeting confirmed that the network remains active and strongly committed, with partner institutions working together across countries and disciplines. A key focus was the ongoing development of the Learning Across Borders project, which is evolving into a flexible and collaborative initiative centered on shared themes like preparedness and future-oriented healthcare, allowing partners to contribute based on their expertise and fostering opportunities for students to collaborate both cross-professionally and cross-nationally. Participants also gained valuable insights through a hospital visit, highlighting the importance of exchange for mutual learning. Looking ahead, the network aims to strengthen connections between activities, further develop the joint project, and continue exploring new collaborations, with the next in-person meeting planned for Klaipėda in April 2027.
